Switched Line Phase Shifter. The phase shifter has four equal length microstrip lines placed on a circular fashion around a via that connects the antenna. If a constant phase shift is desired over a wide frequency range the switched line phase shifter isnt going to cut it. A compact reconfigurable phase shifter has been designed which gives a very low insertion loss -1 dB and wide range of linear reconfigurable phase shift over frequency from 1 to 5 GHz. The standard switched-line Phase Shifter is using switched transmission line segments getting different path length and determining in this way the amount of phase shift.
A low-voltage RF-MEMS switch pull-in voltage 304V is employed and exhibits good RF characteristics by using T-match. A switched-line one-bit 180 phase shifter PS is demonstrated using the 15 V low-loss switch. In this paper a switched line phase shifter at the THz band with a graphene nanoribbon structure is proposed. It is found that by this ratio the matching is always possible.
